Sylacauga, AL -  A Special Celebration of Life Service for Jess Carden, age 36, of Sylacauga, AL, formerly of Roanoke, will be held on September 11th, 2020. Family and Friends are invited.

Jess Carden passed away Friday, August 14th, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.

He leaves to cherish is loving memories, two Brothers, Walt Carden (Brandy) and Sloan Carden, both of Roanoke; Three sisters, Teresa Carden Armstrong (Robert) of Wadley, Mary Carden Lewis (Danny) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Ali Carden Sackett (Walter) of Tallahassee, FL; Aunts, Lynn Robertson of Roanoke; Beth Strohm (Frank) of Valley; Babs Hester (Don) of Roanoke; Brenda Botsford, formerly of Roanoke; Becky Mauldin of Dothan; Uncle, Jimmy Carden of Hogansville and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Frank Carden; mother, Margaret Botsford Carden (Peggy); paternal grandparents, Olin and Eunie Carden and maternal grandparents, Roger and Margaret Botsford all of Roanoke. He was a long time native of Roanoke and had moved to Sylacauga three years ago.
