Jessie "Daddy Mickey" Mickey Obituary

Jessie Mickey, affectionately known as “Daddy Mickey” was born on May 26, 1931, in Talladega County, Alabama to the parentage of George Mickey and Cora Hardy Mickey who both preceded him in death.

Daddy Mickey played a significant role in both the founding and growth of Jesus Saves Deliverance Temple.  His commitment to discipleship is an important part of his legacy.  His dedication to faith and service had a profound impact on many lives.

Daddy Mickey departed this walk of life on March 20, 2025, under the care of Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George Mickey and Cora Hardy Mickey, beloved daughter, Connie Yvette Mickey.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Frances Mickey; two sons, Anthony Randall (Vickie Brown) Mickey, and James D. Mickey; three daughters, Victoria (Chris) Bean, Angela Pitts, and Diane (Phillip) Cook; twelve grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
