John Fitzgerald (Jerry) Patton

Mr. John Fitzgerald (Jerry) Patton was born on May 28, 1964 in Coosa County, Alabama to the parents of Willie Patton and Dorothy Patton.  He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  He continued to served the Lord as his life’s journey lead him to Wisconsin. 

Mr. Patton was called from labor to reward on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his residence, in Sylacauga, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, granddaughter, Skylar Carter and grandmother, Jaunita Odum.

His love will forever be cherished by his loving son, LaJarvis Carter of Harpersville, AL; loving sisters, Jacqueline Patton, Wendy (Elvis) Nix, Debra (Chris) Kirkland all of Sylacauga, AL; loving brothers, Wendell Patton of Sylacauga, AL, and Marquis (Shilia) Patton of Escondido, CA; loving uncle, Henry Odum of Martin, TN; loving aunt, Hattie Burns; a host of nieces, nephews, other beloved relatives and friends.
