Joyce Roberson

Mrs. Joyce Buckhanon Roberson was born on August 1st, 1954, to the union of the late Louise Scroggins Buckhanon and the late Willie B. Buckhanon.

Joyce departed this walk of life on November 30, 2021, under the care of Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her parents Willie B. Buckhanon and Louise Scroggins Buckhanon, sister, Loretta Buckhanon, brother, Billy Buckhanon, and other relatives.

Her love will forever be remembered and cherished by her husband, JB Roberson, four loving children, Stacy (Rebecca) Roberson, Joshua Roberson, Benjamin Roberson, and Tonya Roberson; eight grandchildren, Sharetta Lenay Hall, Michael Xavier Chattman, Brittany (Tyler) Posey, William Alexander Chattman, Gaitlin Alonzo Roberson, Keigan Ross, Ta’Jocelyn Roberson, and Trevionne Roberson; five great grandchildren, Matthew David Hall, Logan Shun Hall, Nola Joy Posey, Neveah Rose Roberson, and Adrian James Posey; She also leaves to cherish her memories her brothers, Willie L. (Mary) Buckhanon, Johnny Buckhanon, and Ricky Buckhanon; sisters, Alice (Paul) Mickey, Priscilla Buckhanon Jones, Linda Buckhanon, Jeanette Buckhanon, Alberta Buckhanon Slaughter, and Minnie Buckhanon, and a host of other relatives and friends.
