Juanita Fair Obituary

Ms. Juanita Fair was born on July 5th, 1954, to the parentage of Rev. Jimmie Earl Fair and Mrs. Frankie Mae Fair in Shelby County, Alabama.  Juanita was affectionately known as “Tight” by family and some close friends due to her very small size at birth and as a young girl.  She was known as “Miss Juanita” by her younger friends/ co-workers.  She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Coosa Valley Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor P.E. Kidd.

Juanita was a graduate of Vincent High School class of 1972.  An accomplished seamstress, she was known for making dresses and ladies’ suits.  Over the years her hobbies ranged from reading novels, video gaming, and jigsaw puzzles.  She held many jobs over the years, but the majority of her work life was with Vulcan Binder & Cover (Information Packaging) in Vincent, Alabama.

Juanita departed this life on Sunday, February 13th, 2022, under the care of Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama, in the presence of family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Frankie Mae Fair and Rev. Jimmie Earl Fair, sisters, Geraldine Stone Riggins, Charlene Fair, and Lenora Fair, brothers, Kenneth Earl Fair, Sr. and Rodney Craig Fair, nephew, Rodney Posey and great nephew, Brandon McMorris.

She leaves to cherish her memory a grateful son, Bryant Keith Fair of Vincent, AL; a devoted sister, Mae Kidd of Vincent, AL; loving brothers, Victor (Belinda) Fair of Childersburg, AL; and Ricky Fair of Vincent, AL; seven nieces, Stephanie (Obie) Norris, Michelle Stone, Ane’ (Joel) Watkins, Darlene (James) Whitehead, Pebbles Smith, Kandyce Fair, and Tiffany Kidd; eight nephews, Vernon Kidd, Hugh Kidd, Stuart Stone, Kenneth Earl Fair, Jr., Kerri Fair, Kendall Fair, Sr., Kory Fair, and Rodney Terrell Brown; uncle, Rev.
