Kevin Wayne McKenzie

Mr. Kevin Wayne McKenzie was born August 3, 1964. His loving mother was the late Mrs. Catherine "Patsy" McKenzie Calloway and his grandparents were the late Rev. Will and Mrs. Bera McKenzie of Vincent, AL.

Mr. McKenzie was a member of Coosa Valley Baptist Church, Vincent, AL where the Rev. Willie J. Posey is pastor.

Kevin was educated at Vincent Elementary School and graduated from Vincent High School, Vincent, AL in May 1982.  He loved sports and excelled in baseball and basketball while at Vincent High.  After graduation, Kevin joined the United States Navy.  He was an E3 and received schooling to became a Licensed Certified Air Conditioner and Refrigeration Technician.  Kevin was honorably discharged from the Navy on November 29, 1991.

Mr. McKenzie departed this life on April 21, 2020 at his residence in Vincent, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Denishia Echols and Zsaquera Echols both of Atlanta, GA; one son, Marcell McKenzie of Pell City, AL; a very special cousin and caregiver, Mae Hugh Kidd of Vincent, AL; and many special cousins, special friends and church family.
