Lamont Maurice Bush, Sr.

Wilsonville, Alabama - Lamont Maurice Bush, Sr. was born on September 11, 1972, in Alabaster, Alabama, to the late Willie Bush, Sr. and Christine Bush.

Lamont received his formal education in the Shelby County School System and was a proud graduate of Shelby County High School, Class of 1991.

At an early age, Lamont accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a faithful member of Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Wilsonville, Alabama.

He was employed with Horton Plumbing, where he worked diligently until his health began to decline.

Lamont departed this earthly life on January 24, 2026, at his residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Willie Bush, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sons, Lamont M. Bush, Jr., Dashun M. Bush, and Jayden Bush Brown; his siblings, Yvonne Wilson, Kenneth (Jackie) Harvey, Gwen Thomas, Deborah Hampton, and Cynthia Oden; his sister-in-law, Frieda Bush; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever remember his life and legacy.
