Larry McGhee

Larry D. McGhee's earthly journey began on February 16, 1951 to the parentage of Ephriam McGhee, Jr. and Ruth Harris McGhee.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  He received his formal education in the Sylacauga City School System and attended East Highland High School. 

Larry had a passion and love for cars, which led him to become an Auto Mechanic.  Along his career, he opened his own auto mechanic business in Patterson, New Jersey.

Larry departed this walk of life on August 13, 2022 at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth McGhee, father, Ephriam McGhee, sisters, Eva Mae Baxton, Doris Ann Cook, and brother, Richard McGhee. 

His love will be forever be cherished by his children, Jennifer L. (Anthony) White of Sylacauga, AL, Larry Charles McGhee of Sylacauga, AL, Larry D. McGhee, Nickey Hamilton, Fred Hamilton, and Dennis Hamilton; brothers, Gary McGhee of New York, Anthony McGhee, and Leon McGhee both of Sylacauga, AL; sisters, Ruby Jean McGhee Brewster of New York, and Sandra McGhee Williams of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren, Alexis Owens of Sylacauga, AL, Tiannica McGhee, Sharece McGhee both of Lexington, KY, Eryka McGhee, Larissa McGhee, and Vanessa McGhee all of State College, Penn; great grandchildren, Kaleb Milliner, Kinsley Morris both of Sylacauga, AL, JaCorian McGhee, Antwain Robinson, Samiya Leonard, Promsye Jones, Tiana Jones all of Lexington, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
