Mr. Larry Jermaine Stone was born May 11, 1983 in Victorville, California to the late Larry Stone and late Emma Jean Brownfield Stone.
Larry Jermaine received his formal education in the Sylacauga School System and graduated from Sylacauga High School in 2001.
With his parent’s guidance he became a member of St. Thomas United Methodist Church.
Larry worked for the Drew Court Housing Authority in Sylacauga and at Sam Lip in Alex City as a metallizer.
His work ethics proved worthy at St. Thomas Church, when Mrs. McKinney was working at the church and needed help with small jobs. She could always depend on a trusted and dedicated “LIL” Larry for assistance: such as moving pews and tables, help paint and put carpet in the pantry, put together the water cooler in the fellowship hall, paint the handicap parking in front of the church, and assist the trustees in cleaning up the upstairs storage.
His favorite hobby was fishing and being a friend to many.
He will be missed by his family, his only beloved daughter De’Asia Lauderdale of Sylacauga, Four loving aunts, Eula Brown of Washington, D.C.; Brenda (Charles) Hughes and Sharon Hubbard both of Sylacauga, Al., Glenda Stone of New York; one uncle, Clyde (Diane) Stone of Leeds, Al,; a special friend, Lamarsha Leonard and many cousins other relatives and especially his church street, community and family.
