Leslie Carone Hardy

Leslie Carone Hardy, affectionally known as “Les” was born on November 13, 1972 in Sylacauga, Alabama.  She was the beloved daughter of David Jones, Sr. and Patricia Fluker Roston. She was also blessed to be the daughter of Earnest Roston, Sr. Leslie departed this walk of life on June 27, 2024 under the care of Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.

At a young age, Leslie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She was a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Temple Ministries, Talladega, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor James and Kathy Curry.  Leslie began her education in the Talladega County School system, and graduated from Childersburg High School.  Later in life she continued her education and enrolled and graduated from Southern Junior College.

Leslie was a dedicated employee with Talladega County School System, where she enjoyed being a substitute teacher.  In her spare time, she was a caregiver to many.  She enjoyed singing, baking, overall helping and ministering to people. 

Along Leslie’s life’s journey she met the love of her life, Mr. Tyrone Hardy and united in Holy Matrimony.  This union was blessed with two beautiful children, Tyrone, Jr. and Miracle.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Felicia Shawanna Fluker, nephew, Condarius Roshun Oden, grandmothers, Pecola Fluker, and Mary Keith, grandfather, Glen Wilson, grandparents, Flora Williams and Smokey Williams, mother in law, Brenda Hardy, and father in law, Joe Huntley. 

Leslie’s love will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Tyrone Hardy, Sr.; two loving children, Tyrone Hardy, Jr. and Miracle Hardy; step daughter, Tyesha Henry; loving mother, Patricia Fluker Roston; fathers, Earnest (Nakita) Roston, Sr., and David Lamar Jones, Sr.; siblings, Eldric (Lashay) Fluker, Celiea Fluker, Chris Fluker, Stephanie Coley, Treesha Roston, Earnest (Crystal) Roston, Jr., Sherryl “Kitty” (Christopher) Black, Dimitris “DJ” Jones, Carlos “CJ” (Traci) Jones, Brandon “BJ” (Jessica) Jones and David Lamar Jones, Jr.; grandchildren, Eden Hardy Toney, and Khristian Henry; nieces and nephews, Vonteruis Oden, Donteruis Oden, Di’Andria Fluker, Antonio Rowland, Jr., Isiah Roston, Jakiah Roston, Dahjai Roston, Dakeleb Roston, Dakhia Roston, Dajin Roston, Takoya Drake, Morgan Claire Adamson, Kayla Turner, Andrew Turner, Cody Jones, Dominique (Jacki) Sipharath, Ca’Tarrus Black, Carrington Black, Cayson Black, Imani Hollingsworth, Christian Jones, Ciara Jones, Braylen Jones, Brooklynne Jones, and Kashtyn Borden; special aunt, Shirley Jones; Mama Gert and God mother, Nellye Heath; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
