Lester Charles Wilson earthly journey began on June 4, 1966 in Childersburg, Alabama to the parentage of Charles O. Wilson and Claudie Mae Wilson McGhee.
Mr. Wilson accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with New Hope Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. As a young man, Mr. Wilson was educated in the Talladega County School System and graduated from B. B. Comer Memorial High School, Sylacauga, Alabama.
Mr. Wilson had a passion for drawing and building different objects. He was a jack of all trades, even through his struggles he had a kind heart. He was willing to lend a helping hand to everyone.
Lester Charles Wilson departed this walk of life on October 8, 2021 under the care of UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudie Mae Wilson McGhee, sister, Sunya C. Wilson, and grandparents, Willie and Flora Smith, Robert and Annie Wilson.
His love and precious memories will forever be cherish by his loving daughter, Kanisha Swain of Sylacauga, AL; father, Charles O. Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; grandson, Lorenzo Carter, Jr. of Sylacauga, AL; one brother, Terry D. (Katherine) Wilson of Lawton, OK; four sisters, Talisa F. (Demetrius) Looney, Elisha P. Wilson, Quwanza W. (Victor) Harris, and Chikitia M. Wilson all of Sylacauga, AL; two uncles, Glenn Wilson of Childersburg, AL; and John Milton (Lou) Wilson of Fayetteville, AL; six aunts, Lola (John) Townsend, Rosetta (Daniel) King both of Talladega Springs, AL; Cora E. Lee of Sylacauga, AL; Eva Varner of Birmingham, AL; Sharon Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; and Anna (Charles) Townsend of Childersburg, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
