Lisa Annette Bennett - Fuller

Sylacauga, Alabama - Lisa Annette Bennett earthly journey began on January 2, 1972, in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was the beloved daughter of Archie Lee Bennett and Mary Lee Cook.  She received her education at B.B. Comer Memorial High School in Sylacauga, Alabama. 

Lisa accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and united with Shiloh Baptist Church.  Later in life she united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health declined. She served as the Pastor Armor Bearer, Youth Counselor, a part of the Usher Board, Sunday School teacher, and choir member.  She loved the Ministry and was willing to go above and beyond.     

Lisa’s career as a lifelong caregiver, brought her so much joy to care and serve the elderly. She also ventured off and became an entrepreneur.  When she wasn’t working as a caregiver, you could find her acting in comedy plays with her best friend, Robuck McElrath.  She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, and entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee Bennett and Archie Lee Bennett, grandson, Za’Mir Boyd, and a host of sisters and brothers.

Her love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Justin Bennett, Jasmine Bennett, and Jade Baker; grandchildren, Nashiia Bennett, and Marion Fair; siblings, Martha Bennett, Abagail Bennett, Calvin (Gwen) Cook, Pastor David Earl (Chandra) Cook, Rosie Keller (Quentin Thomas), George (Melinda) Bennett, and Andrew (Tara) Bennett; special friend, Anthony Ware; best friend, Robuck (Belinda) McElrath; bonus children, Denzel Edwards and Sean Ware; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Lisa Annette Bennett, age 52, will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 1:00PM at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Pastor Kendall Burton, Eulogist.  Public viewing will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, 1:00PM – 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
