Rockford, Alabama - Lucretia June Butler (Kyle) earthly journey began on May 28, 1957 in Tampa, Florida. Lucretia was the beloved daughter of Gene Franklin and Helen Joiner who both preceded her in death.
Lucretia was a very artistic lady, she loved to paint, draw, sing and play her favorite guitar. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her husband and her dog, Eli. She loved her family dearly. Lucretia spent most of her years as a homemaker.
Lucretia departed this walk of life on January 27, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by family and hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Joiner and Gene Franklin, stepdad, Homer Joiner, son, Bobby Butler, grandson, Dustin Butler, daughter, Christie Buttram, two brothers, Glenn Hallman, and Rocky Franklin, and sister, Sue Marcantel.
Her love will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Kent Kyle; loving son, Tommy Butler; stepson, Brandan Kyle; daughter, Cynthia Barnett; stepdaughter, Lynsey Joiner; sisters, Lisa Joiner-Howell, Teresa Butler, Sheila Lamberth; brother, Emery Joiner; grandchildren, Robyn Gable, Shannon Gable, Chrissy Glasscock, Zack Buttram, Jocee Buttram, Heather Guy, Travis Shaw, Heidi Owen’s, and Preston Butler; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life and memorial service for Lucretia June Butler (Kyle), age 67, will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00AM at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Sylacauga, Alabama. Eric Franklin, officiating.
