Talladega, Alabama - Marvin Anthony Fair, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend was born on February 25, 1960, in Vincent, Alabama. He was the beloved son of Willie and Vera Fair who both preceded him in death.
Marvin received his education in Childersburg, Alabama, and graduated with the class of 1978 at Childersburg High School. At an early age, he confessed to Christ and united with Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama. Marvin was a dedicated and faithful member, and served on the Trustee Board, taught Sunday School, sang in the Male Choir, and was a faithful usher. He also was given the task of keeping the church sign updated.
In Marvin’s early years of life, he was employed with Winn Dixie Grocery Store for many years before becoming employed with ECC / Imery’s for 19 years. Later he was employed with Honda Manufacturing of Alabama for over twenty years.
Along Marvin’s life journey he met the love of his life Kiundra Fair, they later prove to be inseparable by uniting in Holy Matrimony.
Marvin had a passion for cars, family and singing. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends and making everyone laugh. In his spare time, he loved to cook his favorite dish, Lasagna and Red Velvet cake. He loved fashion and to dress well. He loved doing different projects around the home.
August 15, 2024, Marvin departed this walk of life. In Heaven, Marvin will reunite with his parents, Willie and Vera Fair, Jr., three siblings, one son, Marcus (Justin) Fair, two grandchildren, Breonna Benson and Baby Mixon.
His love will forever be remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Kiundra Fair of Talladega, AL; sons, Mario Fair of Childersburg, AL, Dontavious (Amber) Truss of Huntsville, AL, and Kendarrius Truss of Talladega, AL; daughters, Takisha Payne of Auburn, AL, Lacreshia (Kendrick) Walker of Childersburg, AL, and Jackie Mixon of Pell City, AL; siblings, Phyllis (Jerry) Wallace of Childersburg, AL, Cynthia Kelly of Childersburg, AL, Terry Fair of Baltimore, MD, and Kenneth (joy) Spidell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Jordyn Beverly of Auburn, AL, Onaeja Lawson of Childersburg, AL, Tearra Fair, Maria Fair, Jaidan Fair, Marion Fair, Martez Fair and Jeremiah Benson all of Childersburg, AL; uncle, Rev. Richard (Catherine) Fair of Harpersville, AL; aunt Rose Drummond of Cincinnati, OH; two special niece and nephew, Kinsley Embry and Carter Anthony Tate; a special friend, Lisa Atwater; a special cousin, Stephanie Norris; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
