We celebrate your accomplishments...

Mary united in Holy Matrimony to the late Leon Coty.

She graduated from Talladega Central High School, Talladega College, Jacksonville State University, and post graduate studies from the University of Montevallo.

She was a faithful giver and supporter of St. Jude Hospital and The Optimist Club of Talladega, Alabama. Mary received the Helen Keller School of Alabama 2017 Teacher of the Year while she was employed at Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind until her retirement.  She had a passion for helping individuals with disabilities which is a joyful practice of Matthew 25:40, freely giving and supporting “the least of these.”

We will miss your grace, your smile, your humor, your fashion, your dedication and commitment, your unwavering friendship, your dependability, and your positive can-do, will do attitude.
