Michael Clemons earthly journey began on January 15, 1957, in Pell City, Alabama to the parents of John A. Clemons and Lula McGraw Clemons.
Michael accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Coosa Valley Baptist Church, Vincent, Alabama. Michael was a dedicated member at Coosa Valley; he served on the Usher Board and was the Coosa Valley Male Chorus director for many years.
Michael received his education in the Shelby County School System and graduated from Vincent Middle/ High School, Vincent, Alabama. Michael served a few years in the United States National Guard. He was a dedicated employee of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama, in the security department for many years until his retirement.
During Michael’s life journey, music became a passion, and he gathered many guys and founded the Unity Male Chorus in Vincent, Alabama.
Michael departed this walk of life on September 13, 2023, under the care of UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Clemons and Lula McGraw Clemons, nephew, Cameron D. Taylor, five aunts and uncles, and sister-in-law, Kate F. Clemons.
His love will forever be cherished by two brothers, John Albert Clemons of Pell City, AL, and Delbert Lamar Clemons of Vincent, AL; two sisters, Shelia Diane (Wesley) Middleton, and Sandra (Melvin) Taylor both of Vincent, AL; two aunts, Bernice McKenzie of Vincent, AL and Dorothy McGraw of Miami, FL; four nieces, five nephews, special friends, Mae Hugh Kidd, Nita Carr and James Hunter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
