Minister Judy Ann (Fulks) Rose

Montgomery, Alabama - Minister Judy Ann Fulks-Rose earthly journey began on August 16, 1959, in Childersburg, Alabama to the parents of Willie Fulks and Earlie Mae McMillian Fulks. 

At an early age Minister Rose accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united her faith with Enon Missionary Baptist Church, Childersburg, Alabama under the leadership of the late Pastor P.E. Kidd.  And later she united with Apostolic Church of God, Montgomery, Alabama under the leadership of Bishop Clarence Rose. Where she was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel, Sunday School Teacher, and Church Secretary.

Minister Rose received her formal education in the Talladega County School System and attended Phyllis Wheatley High School for a few years before attending and graduating at Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, with the class of 1977.

Minister Rose was a dedicated employee with Maxwell Air Force Base for 15 years until her retirement.

Along Judy’s life journey in Montgomery, Alabama she met the love of her life, Bishop Clarence Rose. They united in Holy Matrimony. 

Minister Rose departed this walk of life on March 6, 2024, at her residence in Montgomery, Alabama.  In Heaven, she will reunite with her parents, Earline Mae McMillian Fulks, and Willie Fulks, grandparents, Alice Fulks, Ella Mae Nix McMillian, and Joe McMillian, brothers, Willie Fulks, Jr., and Bobby Joe Fulks, aunts, Clauda Mae Nix, Lucille Malone, Carrie Chatman, Nellie Keith, Josie McMillian, Estella Swain, and Lucille Wood, uncles, Herbert Carter, Dan Carter, Willie McMillian, Mark McMillian, James McMillian, and Mark Nix. 

Minister Rose’s love will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted husband, Bishop Clarence Rose of Montgomery, AL; brother-in-law, J.C. (Nadine) Rose of Macon, GA; sister-in-law, Elaine (Lee) Wilson of Odenville, AL; aunt, Lizzy Cook of Childersburg, AL; special cousin, Beatrice Lee of Childersburg, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Minister Judy Ann Fulks Rose, age 64, will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00AM at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Sylacauga, Alabama. Bishop Ronald Marshall, PHD, eulogist. Interment will commence in the Lilly Rhoden | Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Childersburg, Alabama. Public Viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
