Minister Mary Ann Garrett was born on February 7, 1962 to the parentage of the late Mr. King Solomon Calhoun and the late Sister Annie Bell Garrett Calhoun.
In 1987 she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and became a member of the Move of God Bibleway Deliverance Tabernacle. She was an Intercessor, and a powerful woman of God.
She attended school at Huges High School in Cincinnati, OH.
Minister Garrett gained her wings on July 28, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Cleophus Garrett, Michael Calhoun, Kenneth Calhoun, and Freddie Calhoun; four sisters, Joyce Juanita Moore, Eleanor C. Dudley, Charlene Calhoun Jones, and Cheryl Calhoun Gunn.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three beautiful children, Shawonna Garrett, Charity Garrett, and Michael Garrett all of Sylacauga, AL; four adorable grandchildren, MaKayla Garrett, Kiya Garrett, Kierra Garrett, and Royal Asher Holloway all of Sylacauga, AL; three brothers, Milton (Georgia) Keith, Melvin K. Calhoun both of Cincinnati, OH; and Charles (Shirley) Calhoun of Talladega, AL; two sisters, Ola Renay (Ronald) Garrett and Serlivia Swain Garrett both of Alpine, AL; one uncle, Spencer (Barbara) Garrett, of Atlanta, GA; a special friend, Sister Arzita Stuckey; and a host of other relatives, loving church family and friends.
