Nuoka Mavzette Leach was born in Gadsden, Alabama to the parentage of Elizabeth Leach and Audrey Scott on July 11, 1953.
Nuoka, accepted Christ at an early age and was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and an avid student of His Word. As a young lady, she was educated in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School, Childersburg, Alabama.
Nuoka dedicated her time working as a leasing agent and property manager. After retiring a few years ago, she relocated to Irondale, Alabama. She loved spending time with her family and friends as well as hosting family gatherings.
She departed this walk of life on September 28, 2021, under the care of Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, two brothers, Nathaniel Leach and Derry Scott, and two sisters, Gail Hamilton and Sarah McKinney.
Her love will be cherished by her four loving children, Tomeka Franklin, Makeva (Dexter) Marbury, Yusef (Annissa) Franklin, and Kesha (Marvin) Marbury; one brother Bobby Leach, and three sisters Janice McElrath, Zelamina Johnson, and Mary Penn Smedley; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
