Overseer Antionette Averitte was born to the late Robert Earl Stone and Annie Ruth Stamps on June 26, 1965. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
She received Christ at an early age and had been a member of The Power of Pentecost P.F.C. Inc in Sylacauga, AL under the leadership of Arch+ Bishop Marshal L. Thomas. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and true worshipper. She spent her time serving her community, family, and God.
Antionette received her high school education from B.B. Comer High School. Later she attended Barclay College (Irvine, CA) and graduated with a degree in Word Processing. She continued her education with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Harry M. Ayers State Technical College (Anniston, AL).
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Melvin Tony Averitte of Anniston, AL; three daughters, Portia (Marcus) Perry, Tamarah Averitte-Reynolds, Sophia (Cody) Haynes; one son, Tony D. (Courtney) Averitte; stepdaughters, LaTasha Fluker and Lanadra Fluker; loving mother, Annie Ruth Stamps of Sylacauga, AL; eleven grandchildren, Alindsay (Kewon) Hutchinson, Azzariah Perry, Mijia Brooks, Julian McClain, Anastasia Brooks, A’Kayla Perry, Colt Haynes, Marcus Perry, Jr., Xenia Reynolds, Madelynn Averitte, and Zynarah Averitte; brothers, Dexter (Annie Marie) Thomas, Alvin (Shirley) Thomas, Marvin (Denena) Thomas, Robert (Darlene) Nicks, Shawn Stone, and Fiorvanti (Misty) Stone; sisters, Shawn (Dirk) Garrett, Sonji Stone, Treka (Jerome) Vick, and Amanda Stone; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, Godchildren, other relatives and dear friends.
