Paula Lynette Havis - Greenlea

Sylacauga, Alabama -  Paula Lynette Havis was born on September 20, 1966, in Guntersville, Alabama, to the parentage of George Timmie Havis and Cora Lee Johnson. She departed this walk of life on December 2, 2025, under the compassionate care of UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Paula received her education in the Sylacauga City School System, graduating from Sylacauga High School. During her school years, she proudly participated in pageantry, earning the title of Miss Sylacauga and later becoming the runner-up for Miss Alabama.

She accepted Christ and was a faithful member of The Power of Pentecost in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Paula worked various jobs throughout her life, including her time at Avondale Mills, but her passion was always found in hairstyling. Gifted with creativity and a warm spirit, she found joy in helping others look and feel their best. Paula was a hard worker who devoted herself to providing for her children. She had a giving heart, a love for dressing up, and a natural talent for decorating.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Rush Johnson Jr. and George Timmie Havis, and her beloved sister, Jennifer Moore.

Paula leaves to cherish her loving memory, her devoted children: sons, Asion Burton and Galane Kendrick; and daughter, Ebony Fuller. She is also survived by her loving and dedicated mother, Cora Lee Johnson; her siblings, Eric (Gwen) Wilson, Lynn (Angie) Wilson, Angela (Donell) Pope, Timothy Havis, Conswayla Havis, Nicole Havis, Cherry Havis, Celestine Johnson, Jeffery (Emma) Johnson, Johnny C. Havis, and Xavier Havis; her precious grandchildren, Jazalin Pearson, Jameria Fuller, Jada Fuller, Hope Duncan, and Brycen Russell; sister in law, Sandra Wilson, special friend, Catrina Harrison; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her beautiful spirit.

Paula’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
