Pauline (Bradford) Norris - Thomas

Mrs. Pauline Bradford Norris Thomas' earthly journey began on October 23, 1932 in Coosa County, Alabama to the parents of Mr. Warren Bradford and Exie Thomas Bradford.

Mrs. Thomas accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age in life, and united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Goodwater, Alabama, where she faithfully served until God called her home on June 9, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Thomas was educated at ICS Newport / Pacific High School where she graduated.  She furthered her education and attended Birmingham Baptist Easonian College, Birmingham, Alabama.  She began her working career as an Insurance Agent until her retirement.  She enjoyed her God Gifted talents as a beautician, seamstress and musician. 

Mrs. Thomas served as the President of the Missionary Society, Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary for Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Goodwater, Alabama.  Served as Northeast State Convention Worship Leader, Alabama State Convention Lecturer. She also served in many capacities, helping build God’s Kingdom, carrying the good news “God’s Word” near and far.  She served as President of Morning Star District Women's Auxiliary for 30 years and earned the title of Emeritus President until her departure.

Mrs. Thomas was a proverb woman, homemaker, and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Her love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Belinda Horton (Robert), Exie Sterns, Rev. Berlyn Norris (Farie) and Zabralara McGhee; nine loving grandchildren, Christopher Horton (Teresa), Terrance Horton (Misty), Euphemia Broussard (Sean), Leah Robinson (Pastor William), Nacoma Norris (Tonya), Nadrado Norris (Shun), Narenzo Norris (Melanie), Marsala Mitchell (Cedric), Cedric Ledale Richardson; extended grandchildren, Alfredia Castille, Sylvia Harrison, Kevin Simmons, and Tyrone Parker; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,  other relatives and friends.
