Cincinnati, Ohio - Quentin Edward Wallace, Sr. was born 61 years ago on August 4, 1963 to John D. Lawler and the late Betty Ann Wallace. In a small town called Harpersville, Alabama is where Quentin was raised and called home. Affectionately known as CooCoo, departed this walk of life on October 10, 2024.
Quentin was baptized at an early age and united his faith with Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama. He received his formal education at Vincent Elementary and High School. During his school tenure, he was a talented athlete in basketball and baseball. He often believed he could have been a Pro Athlete with baseball being his passion.
In 1982 he relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cincinnati became his new home. However, Alabama stayed in his heart. He always considered Alabama as his home. Quentin established a career at Zenith Logistic. Quentin last wish to his son Quentin Jr. was to be resting in his hometown of Harpersville, Alabama. Quentin mother, Betty Ann Wallace preceded him in death along with his sister Melissa Wallace, his son Jason Cohill and his grandparents, Jimmie Earl and Betty Mae Wallace also preceded him in death.
On January 1, 1983 Quentin welcome his first son Jason Cohill (Freida Wallace). After relocating to Cincinnati he met the mother of his three children Anita. They welcome their son on January 11, 1984, his name sake Quentin Edward Wallace, Jr., his only daughter Shiniqua and his youngest son, Joshua. His oldest and favorite nephew Derrick Wallace and favorite niece, Tearra Williams. Quentin was a loving father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. His children and grandchildren are deeply sadden and will cherish his memory.
Quentin leaves to mourn his passing.
His father, John D. Lawler, his children, Quentin (Shayla) Wallace, Jr., Shiniqua (Eric) Franklin and Joshua Stephens. His siblings, Greta (Alford) Cephas, and Andre Wallace. His grandchildren, Chris, Jymeir, Chy’na, Eric, Masiah, Ja’Moni, and Jazzonia. His uncle, Jimmie Wallace, Jr., and great uncle, Rev. Charles (Doris) Wallace. Bonnie Jean Threet and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
