Raven C’iara Simone Stone affectionately known as Peanut, earthly journey began on April 8, 1997 in Sylacauga, Alabama the parents of Rev. Calvin Stone and Sharon Spivey.
Raven received her formal education in the Sylacauga City School System and attended Sylacauga High School, where she was a part of the Sylacauga Aggie Basketball Team and the Aggie Track Team.
Raven accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Union Baptist Church. She had the privilege of being baptized by her father. She later united with House of Redemption Ministries in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Raven was employed with Jack's Family Restaurant in Sylacauga, Alabama where she served as the restaurant manager. She was in the midst of attending and studying Medical Billing at the Safe Workforce Program in Sylacauga, Alabama. During Raven’s spare time she had a passion for braiding and styling hair.
Raven, a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend departed this walk of life on November 3, 2023, in Sylacauga, Alabama. She reunited with her grandfathers, Joe Spidell and James Stone, grandmother, Dorothy Mae Snow Stone, great grandmothers, Nell Spidell and Smithie Lee Graham, brother, Corey Stone, uncles, Donzell Snow, Frank Stone, and Frederick Graham, aunts Abaleen Shorter and Pam Bradford.
Raven’s love will forever be remembered by her loving parents, Rev. Calvin (Tameka) Stone and Sharon Spivey; loving children, Raidenn Dark, Paris Dark, and Akhouri Dark; brothers, Peyton Young, and Christian Guyton; sisters, Shaniece Stone (Johnathan Toney), Doreatha Stone, Kayla Stone, Grace Stone, and Meghan Stone; grandmother, Charlene Spidell; aunts, Angela Embry, Marie (Booker T) Lee, Sandra Stone, and Catrina (Cedric) Harrison; uncles, Ray Charles (Janet) Stone, Larry (An) Stone, Marvin Stone, Jimmy Lewis (Stephanie) Ragland and Dedrick Spidell; special friend, Spencer Lowery and mother; and a host of nieces, nephews, great aunts, other relatives and friends.
