Rev. K C Harris, Jr.

Rev. K.C. Harris Jr. earthly journey began on November 14th, 1938 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to the parentage of Mary and K.C. Harris, Sr.

Rev. K.C. accepted Christ at an early age and united with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  As a young man Rev. K.C. was educated in the Talladega County School System and later graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School, Childersburg, Alabama.  Rev. K.C. furthered his education and attended Samford University. 

Rev. K.C. departed this walk of life on October 23, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Maida Harris, son. Mark E Mannings, parents, Mary and K.C. Harris Sr., brothers, Bobbie Harris, Freeman Harris Sr., and M.C. Harris, sisters, Annie K. Pope, Minnie Harris and Bertha Smith.

His love and precious memories will be cherished by his sons,  Donald Harris, Kenneth Carl (Angela) Harris, David (Mina) Harris, DeAngelo (Lynne) Mannings, Micheal (Tomeka) Harris, and Karl Harris; daughters, Rebecca (Wendell) Hardin, Vivian Everett, Shar’ron (Piet) deDreu, Chiquanda Fuller, Michele (Devondrick) Mckenzie, Maida (Vincent)Davis, and Karla (Derrick) Dozier; one special nephew, Victor E. Harris, Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends
