Robert (Champ) Benson

Robert D. Benson was born on September 19, 1940 to the parentage of the late Horace Benson and the late Ora D. Hicks in Sylacauga, Alabama. 

Robert departed this walk of life on August 20, 2021 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama. 

I want to let you know that I have moved.  I was received by my Father, who informed me that my new home is ready and that I can move in immediately.  Now that my new home is ready, it is a beautiful sight to behold.  Of course the streets are paved with gold and everyday is Sunday, I've been told.  I've lived in many places before but none can compare to my new home.  There is peace, love, joy and happiness there is no pain to bear.  There is only sweet serenity everywhere.  I can go on and on about my new home.  I have to go now and get fitted for my Wings.
