Robert Lee Lynch Obituary

Sylacauga, Alabama -  Robert Lee Lynch, affectionally known as “Skeeter” was born on June 15, 1961 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the parents of Callis Lee Lynch and Annie Pearl Pointer Lynch, who both preceded him in death.  Mr. Lynch departed this walk of life on December 26, 2024 under the care of DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Robert was dedicated to his faith and believed in God.  He united his faith and became a member of Harper Springs Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  He received his formal education in the Talladega County School System and graduated from R. R. Moton High School, Sycamore, Alabama.

Robert was beloved by the community.  He always spared time to visit neighbors and friends. He was one of the greatest card players and he often loved playing checkers. Robert was a fun person, who loved and valued life and people and was true to heart.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Callis Lynch and Annie Pearl Lynch, grandparents, Leonard Taylor and Fannie Mae Taylor, sister, Arista Stone, niece, Pavie Leeann Dark, uncle, Williams (Bill) Pointer, and two aunts, Peggy Sue Coleman and Marie Moore.

His loved will forever be cherished by his loving brothers, Callis (Nellie) Lynch, Jr., Julious Lynch, and Cassius (Mary) Lynch all of Sylacauga, AL; uncles and aunts, Julius Pointer, John Taylor, Charlie Taylor, Rose Louis, Lottie Twyman, Flora Hutchinson, Hattie Brown, Willie B. Fuller, Sarah Fuller, and Rita Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew's other relatives and friends.
