He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Gibson and Virginia Carter, his wife, Mary Elizabeth Thomas, one son, Travis Thomas, one brother, Eddie C. Thomas.
He leaves to Cherish his loving memories, two loving sons, Maurice Thomas of Dallas, TX; Quentin Thomas of Sylacauga, AL; two loving daughters, Minister Tabitha Thomas of Sylacauga, AL; and Sabrina (Ezra) Lane of Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Eddie B. Thomas, and Robert Carter; three sisters, Virginia Averitte, Mary Carter, and Pearlie Mae McKenzie; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
