On June 28th, 1930, Mrs. Sarah Louise Keith Fluker began her earthly journey when she was born to the union of Minor Keith and Mamie Garrett Keith in Childersburg, Alabama.
She received her formal education in the Talladega County System and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School, Childersburg, Alabama. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Scotts Grove Baptist Church, Vincent, Alabama.
Mrs. Sarah was affectionately known by family and friends as Aunt Coot. Along her life’s journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to the late Primus Fluker.
Aunt Coot was a faithful employee with Shelby Senior Service as a cook for twenty years.
On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, Sarah Louise Fluker traded her earthly journey for eternal rest, reuniting with her husband, Primus Fluker, her parents, Minor Keith and Mamie Garrett Keith, eleven siblings, and great grandson, Princeton Swain.
Her love will forever be cherished by her loving daughter, Carolyn Mitchell; three grandchildren, Kelia Fluker, Barry (Delina) Mitchell, and Minister Darren Mitchell; Seven great grandchildren, Keyonna (Demetrius) Hoyett, Jeremy Fluker, Jamell Fluker, Jamario Fluker, Malik Davis Bryanna Mitchell, and Sandra (Kelvin) Ruganoaano; special nieces, Christine (Solomon) Swain, Shirley Kelley, Bernice Morris, Mary Oden, Bonnie McGinnis, Marilyn Jones, Fannie Mae Fluker, Linda (Marvin) Hall, Betty Joe Keith, and Bobbie Keith; special nephews, Howard (Doris) Keith, George McGinnis, Minor (Ruth) Wynn, Johnny Lee Ferguson, and Billy (Janice) Ferguson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
