Harpersville, Alabama - Stanley Mac Bruno earthly journey began on June 8, 1956, in SweetWater, Alabama to the parents of Booker T. Bruno and Ulyssee Rogers Bruno.
Stanley accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and united with Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama. He received his formal education in the Shelby County School System and attended Vincent High School.
Stanley was a dedicated employee with Crete Carrier as a truck driver for many years.
Stanley departed this walk of life on January 15, 2024, at his residence in Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Booker T. Bruno, mother, Ulyssee R. Bruno, sisters, Sheila Adams, and Carolyn Young, and brother, Alvin Bruno.
Stanley’s love will forever be cherished by his loving daughter, LeKesha (Darrell) Rice of South Carolina; two granddaughters, JaKayla Rice, and JaNeyce (Bre) Rice both of South Carolina; loving siblings, Andrew (Karen) Bruno of Montgomery, AL, Ethel Bruno-Watters of Riverside, AL, Bennie (Jacquline) Bruno of Harpersville, AL, Vera (Renato) Watters-Malcolm of Chicago, IL, Llewellyn (Lenita) Bruno of Vincent, AL, Billy Lawson of Vincent, AL, and Phillip (Bobbie) Bruno of Memphis, TN; sister in law, Faith Bruno of Birmingham, AL; brother in law, Samuel (Shandra) Adams of Pelham, AL; two special friends, James McKinney and Paul Hamilton both of Harpersville, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life for Stanley Mac Bruno, 67, will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 1:00PM at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama. Rev. Jim C. Norwood, Eulogist. Interment will commence in the Harpersville Memorial Cemetery, Harpersville, Alabama. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
