Terri N. Cook

Mrs. Terri N. Cook was born April 29, 1970 in Sylacauga, AL. At an early age, she accepted Christ and joined Harper Spring Baptist Church, Sylacauga, AL. She later united with Pine Grove Baptist Church, Sylacauga, AL.

Terri graduated from B. B. Comer Memorial High School, Sylacauga, AL in 1988.  She advanced her education at Jacksonville State University where she obtained, both, Bachelor and Master degrees.

Terri was employed a number of years at Cheaha Mental Health in Sylacauga, AL. She later continued her career in social work with the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources where she retired in 2015 due to health issues.

On March 27, 2004, Terri united in holy matrimony to Brian Cook, who loved and cared for her until her home going. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother.

On September 19, 2020, after a lengthy illness, Terri peacefully slept into eternal rest.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Annie Mae and Hoover Glenn of Sylacauga, AL and Eugene Cook of Childersburg, AL; and her step-father, Andrew Hudson of Sylacauga, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, Brian Cook of Sylacauga, AL; children, Brianna Cook and Jacobe Cook, both of Sylacauga, AL and Marcus Booker of Talladega, AL; grandson, Ayden Cook of Sylacauga; mother, Doris Jean Hudson of Sylacauga, AL; father, Eddie Cook of Atlanta , GA; siblings, Kendrick Cook (Amanda) of Pell City, AL, and Pastor Lisa Jarrell of Cleveland, Ohio and a host of family and friends.
