Terry Christian Obituary

Sylacauga, Alabama - Mr. Terry Christian, affectionately known as “Breeze,” was born on January 9, 1972, in Sylacauga, Alabama. He departed this life on April 1, 2026, at Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Terry received his education in the Sylacauga City School System and was a graduate of Sylacauga High School.

Terry was a man who found peace and joy in the quiet outdoors. He had a deep love for hunting, and during hunting season, you could often find him embracing nature—something he truly cherished. More than anything, Terry loved his family and valued the time he spent with them. His warm spirit and joyful personality were evident to all; often, you would hear his laughter before you saw him. His presence brought light to those around him, and he will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Bessie Lee Christian; his son, Jacaylon Crawford; and his grandmother, Irene Pugh Phifer.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, TaMaya Smart; his special friend, Mary Walton; his siblings, Sharene Lee (Rickey) of Florida, Marcus Christian of Sylacauga, Sonya Christian of Florida, Steven Christian of Sylacauga, and Tracy Pride of Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
