Thomas Malone Garrett a son, brother, husband, father, and friend was birthed into this world on June 4, 1952, in Childersburg, Alabama, to the late Madie Malone Garrett. He was the fourth of four siblings.
As a young man, Thomas was a member of Tallassahatchie Baptist Church in Childersburg, Alabama. Until his death, he nourished his personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Thomas is notably associated with the gift of comedy and the gifts God placed on his hands to be proficient in construction and mechanical work.
The early part of Thomas’ life’s journey, he connected and united in holy matrimony to Ethel Zachery to this union two children were born, Pamela Garrett and Zandra Garrett (Moten). Later in life Thomas, united in holy matrimony to Enell Wallace to this union one daughter was born Alexis Garrett.
Thomas departed this walk of life on April 9, 2022, at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Jamal Garrett; grandmother, Ida Brown; mother, Madie Malone Garrett; brother, Felix Garrett (Dora); two sisters, Juliet Groce (William), and Caroline Garrett, and nephew, Timothy Garrett.
He leaves in this world to cherish his loving memories, a loving wife of 39 years, Enell Garrett; eight children, Antonio Parker of Florida, Pamela Garrett of Kennesaw, Georgia; Felicia Wallace of Sylacauga, Alabama; Zandra Moten (CAPT Retired, Cedric) of Clarksville, Tennessee; Latonya Harvey (Malcolm) of Goodwater, Alabama; Tiffany Lashun Swain, of Sylacauga, Alabama; Sheranta Wallace (Patricia) of Eastaboga, Alabama; and Alexis Nichole Garrett of Sylacauga, Alabama; 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one favorite niece, Marcita Garrett; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
