Tommy Youngblood

Harpersville, AL - Mr. Tommy Youngblood was born on December 4, 1954 in Shelby County, Alabama to the late Tommie Youngblood and Cordia L. Nelson Youngblood.  He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Larry Youngblood, and his son Shondreko Youngblood. 

He attended Shelby County Training School in Columbiana, AL and later attended school at Vincent High School.

He made his transition home quietly on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.  He will always be remembered for his love of  his family, his laughter, and his caring spirit. 

He is survived by one son, Terence (Michelle) Youngblood, Sr. of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Terence, Jr., Ma'Razure, Terrell, Madisyn, and Tristen; his mother, Cordia L. Nelson Youngblood, of Birmingham, AL; seven sisters, Mary Dudley of Birmingham, AL; Cora L. Dates of Birmingham, AL; Nellie Youngblood of Atlanta, GA; Celetha Rice of  Montgomery, AL; Dollie (Arthur) Green of Cropwell, AL; Voncile (Joe) Posey of Harpersville, AL; Maxine (Jesse) Burns of Calera, AL;  one brother, Phillip (Marie) Youngblood of Birmingham, AL: four aunts, Madeline Nelson of Dothan, AL; Lula Mae King of Dothan, AL; Willie Mae Pegues of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Mary Frances Flamer of East Palo Alto, CA; two uncles, Willie C. Nelson of Montgomery, AL; David Nelson of Buffalo, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
