Tracy Michelle Twyman

Sylacauga, Alabama -  A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still, and a place is vacant in our home that can never be filled.  On October 8, 1974, through God’s grace, the late Roy Ted Crayton (Melvin) and the late Mary Louise Twyman welcomed and became the proud parents to Tracy Michelle Twyman.  She developed a strong faith, accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. 

Tracy received her formal education in the Sylacauga City School System and graduated from Sylacauga High School. She later obtained her Cosmetology License in Anniston, Alabama.  She had a passion for being a hairdresser.   She was employed with Sunbelt for many years and worked as a data clerk and later was employed with Glen Iris Elementary School in Birmingham, Alabama, where she worked as a teacher aid. 

Tracy was unique in her own personal way.  She enjoyed worshipping and fellowshipping with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama.  She enjoyed the life of motherhood, and being supportive to her beloved son, Kadarious in all of his academic achievements. 

Tracy departed this walk of life on January 29, 2025 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Louise Twyman, father, Roy Ted Crayton (Melvin), and beloved son, Jaderious Twyman.

Her love will forever be cherished by her loving son, Kadarius Twyman of Sylacauga, AL; one sister, Nolisha Crayton of Georgia; one brother, Melvin Demetrius (Meek) Crayton of Orlanda, FL; three aunts, Mary Battle of Childersburg, AL, Jossie Ware, and Rebecca Twyman both of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Tracy Michelle Twyman, age 50, will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Rev. Kenneth Ragland, Eulogist.  Interment will commence in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Public Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
