Tracy Orlandus Ragland

Tracy Orlandus Ragland’s earthly journey began on January 8, 1966 to the parents of Willie Estelle Ragland and Preston Leonard, Sr. in Sylacauga, Alabama.  Tracy gave his life to Christ in 2005 and united with Hollins Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Hollins, Alabama.  Later he united with Evangel Temple Deliverance Center, Vincent, Alabama, where he served as a devoted deacon.

Along Tracy’s life’s journey he met and united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Gloria J. Vincent on June 14, 1997. 

He traded his cross for a crown on May 19, 2023, under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Cecile Leonard and Alex Leonard, and one sister, Idella Speer.

Tracy’s love will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 25 years, Gloria J. Ragland; three loving daughters, Brittany Ragland, Danielle Ragland, and Jasmine Dark; two sons, Marquise Lauderdale, and Preston (Jan) Ragland; one step daughter, Jessica Simmons; one God Son, Seth Garrett; twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, six loving brothers, Rev. Ken (Lisa) Ragland, Larry (Christine) Ragland, Stacy Ragland, Ron (Lakesha) Pope, Preston (Serena) Leonard, Jr., and Charles (Kizzy) Leonard; three loving sisters, Ann (James) Kirksey, Stephine Kelly, and Kimberly Ragland; one aunt, Faye Ragland; special aunt, Johnnie Mae Goodgame; four sister in laws, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
