Travanti Marrell Odem - Spivey’s earthly journey began on September 4, 2009 at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City, Alabama to the parents of Earl DeAngelo Spivey and Moneike Wyckoff Odem. Travanti was affectionately known as “Woot” by many friends and family.
Travanti began his education in the Sylacauga City School System and attended Pinecrest Elementary School, before entering the Coosa County School System. Travanti was very athletic and had a bright future in playing football, basketball, track and baseball.
On February 12, 2023 Travanti accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Pleasant Home Baptist Church, Goodwater, Alabama. Under the leadership of Pastor Thomas E. Bullock.
Travanti had a heart of gold and never met a stranger; he loved life and enjoyed every minute of it. He loved shopping, playing video games, making Tik-toks, and joking with anyone and everyone.
Travanti departed this walk of life on April 24, 2023 under the care of Columbus Hospice Care, Columbus, GA, surrounded by family. Reuniting with his mother, Moneike Wyckoff Odem, great grandparents, Annie Pearl Wilson, Willis Wilson, Felix Spivey and Billy Glenn.
Travanti’s love will forever be cherish by his loving father, Earl DeAngelo Spivey; two brothers, Zyquez Wyckoff, and Jeremy Odem; one loving sister, Jaida Odem; loving grandparents, Sharon Wilson, and Earl (Cortesa) Spivey; loving uncles, Fred (Ayana) Wilson, Landreka (Lasayona) Wilson, Seatrust Meadows, and Ken Wyckoff; loving aunt, Ariana (Jamal) Murray; great grandparents, Bessie Spivey and Annie Glenn; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, classmates and friends.
