Ulysses Wilson Obituary

Sylacauga, Alabama - Ulysses Wilson, age 68, of Sylacauga, Alabama, peacefully passed away on October 19, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1957, in Sylacauga, Alabama, to the late Sam Wilson, Sr. and Ola Mae Wilson.

Ulysses was a kind and caring man who cherished his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Sam Wilson, Jr.; and cousins, Jeremy (DJ) Wilson and Roy Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister, Gloria (Cecil) Fomby; sister-in-law, Sarah Wilson; nieces, Yvonne (Jihad) Wilson and Ashley Fomby; nephew, Jeremy Fomby; special cousin, Peggy Patterson; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family extends special thanks to his friends at The Farm Ministries, SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice, and Coosa Valley Medical Center for their care, kindness, and support.

Celebration and Public viewing for Ulysses will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home Chapel.
