Wallace Dale Prater

Wallace Dale Prater, age 82, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Wallace Prater was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Margie Prater; daughter Aledra Thompson; sisters Dorothy Prater Carson and Betty Prater Davis, and brothers Ollie D. Prater and Dr. Oscar L. Prater.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his current wife, Barbara Prater; son Donnie Smith; daughters, Dionne (Garland) Jones, Takeisha Wright; stepdaughter, Dr. Anessa Kidd; stepson Clifford Kidd Jr. his loyal Shih Tzu “Patches Prater”; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
