William Terrell Cohill, Sr.

Mr. William Terrell Cohill, Sr. was born to the parentage of the late Albert Cohill and the late Lorcenior Hardy (Cohill) on June 26, 1954 Wilsonville, AL.  Mr. Cohill was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, and one sister, Rev. Donald Cohill, Marilyn Lucille Cohill Wood, and Larry Cohill. 

He Confessed his hope Christ at an early age and united with the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Wilsonville, AL.  Mr. Cohill would often express his Zeal for God.  

He was united in Holy Matrimony with Dorothy Ellis Cohill on January 16, 1974, to this union three sons were born.  

Mr. Cohill was a retired Electrician.  He worked with the IBEW diligently (International Brotherhood Electric Workers) for 38 years.  William was also an big fan of the Auburn Football Team.  

 Mr. Cohill departed this walk of life on January 11, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories loving wife for 47 years, Dorothy Ellis Cohill of Wilsonville, AL; three sons, Patrick Terrell Cohill of Wilsonville, AL; William Terrell Cohill of Birmingham, AL; and Timothy Djuan Cohill of Wilsonville, AL; three brothers, Edward (Mary Jo) Cohill of Wilsonville, AL; Lorenzo Cohill of Birmingham, AL; Alvin (Alma) Cohill of Wilsonville, AL; three grandchildren, Makayla (Spencer) Lewis of Washington, DC; Kiara Coons, Kansas; William Terrell III and a host of family and friends.
