William Charles Miller

Mr. William Charles Miller earthly journey began on December 4, 1957 to the parentage of the late John McElrath and the late Louise Herron in Talladega, Alabama.

At an early age, William, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Church of Christ in April 17, 1977.

William’s life journey was full of life, his gentle nature and respect for all is what describes him best.  His love for people never allowed his to meet a stranger.  He was an dedicated employee at Thompson Wyman for over thirty years. 

William departed this walk of life on March 24, 2021 under the care of Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Liliana Olivia Miller, brother in law, Melvin Sears, and nephew, Towoni Sears.

His love and fun memories will always be remembered and cherished be his four children, Jovon (Sherry) Miller, Jerell (Alicia) Miller both of Fort Worth, Texas, Montrell Miller of Clanton, Alabama, and Zenobia Talley of Verbena, Alabama; five sisters, Dorothy Sears of Sylacauga, Alabama, Shirley (Addison) Lishon of Birmingham, Alabama, Fanny Hendrix of Statesboro, Georgia, Tammy Smith and Patricia McElrath both of Akron, Ohio; four brothers, Michael (Belinda) McElrath, Jeff (rose) McElrath, John David McElrath, and Joshua McElrath all of Akron, Ohio;  a devoted friend & ex-wife, Katrina Miller; special friend, Mary Odum; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
