William Hershell Moon

Mr. William Hershel Moon Sr. was born January 17, 1946 in Talladega Co., to the union of Landers L. Moon Sr. and Anzelia Lollar-Moon.

Mr. Moon confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Moon was united in married to Margaret A. Duffey and to this union four children were born and later united to Janice Harris and to this union two children were born.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Landers and Anzelia Moon, Daughter-Martha M. Moon, Son-David Dean Fuller; sisters: Annie Faye Moon-Odum, Juanetta Moon-Jackson, Jessie Parker-Sim, Mary Jean Kelow, Teresa Moon-Thurman, Rosa Wyckoff, Brothers: Lee Don Moon, Landers Moon Jr., Dwight Avery Moon.

Mr. Moon departed this walk of life on June 2, 2020 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories: One Daughter Gloria D. Moon-Dunston of Covington, GA; Four sons: Melvin Moon, William H. Moon Jr., William H. Moon III, James E. Moon, Two Step-sons: Derrick D. Harris, Michael D. Harris; Six Sisters: Brenda M. (Dewitt) Simmons, Juanita M. Varner of Sylacauga, Gloria J. (Ricky) Moon-Johnson of Columbiana, AL; Willie (Alex) Jackson of Talladega, AL; Magalene Moon-Brazier of Chidersburg, AL; Debra (Joe) Jones-Calhoun of Birmingham, AL; Three Brothers: Larry (Daisy) Moon; Billy W. Moon of Sylacauga, AL, Kenneth R. Moon of Columbus, GA.
