Obituary

Mr. William Anderson Jemison was born on April 4th, 1954 in Talladega County, Alabama to the parentage of Linda Shorter.  At an early age William accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, Los Angeles, California under the leadership of Senior Pastor Perry J. Jones.

William departed this walk of life on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 under the care of Southern California Hospital at Culver City, Culver City, California.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Shorter, brothers, Edward Jemison, and Harry Jemison, sisters, Abeline Shorter and Peggy McKenzie.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories one sister, Annie B. Wynn of Riverside, CA; two brothers, Lucius Shorter of Dayton, OH, and Luther (Jennifer) Shorter of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
