Sylacauga, AL - Willie Earl Pope, 63, was born April 22, 1955 to the parentage of the late Lillie Mae Robinson and Elve Pope, Jr.

He confessed his life to Christ at an early age.  Mr. Pope united and fellowship with Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Pope departed this walk of life on April 29, 2018 at Coosa Valley Nursing Home, Sylacauga, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Elbert Pope, Jr. and Joseph Ellis.

He leaves to cherish his memories to loving sons, Demetrius Brownfield and Christopher Billingsley both of Sylacauga, AL; three sisters, Bertha Robinson, Wanda Pope Norris, and Mary McKenzie all of Sylacauga, AL; three aunts, Willodean (Fred) Borden of Sylacauga, AL; Gloria Slaughter of Sylacauga, AL; Elizabeth Sheppard of New Castle, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, six nieces, three nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
