Willie L. Wilson

Willie L. Wilson's earthly journey began on August 13, 1955 to the parentage of the late Frank Wilson, Sr. and the late Helen Marbury Wilson in Talladega County, Alabama.

At an early age, Willie L. accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Pleasant Valley CME Church, Childersburg, Alabama.  As a youth, Willie L. was educated in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Childersburg High School with the class of 1973.

Willie L. departed this life on August 24, 2021 under the care of Brookwood Citizens Medical Center, Talladega, AL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Wilson, Sr. and Helen M. Wilson, one son, Willie Cook, one sister, Alice Faye Wallace Castleberry, one aunt, Mattie C. Wilson Craig.

His love and precious memories for be remember by his siblings, Gwendolyn (Warren) Turner of Talladega, AL; Nina Faye (Gene) Marbury of Childersburg, AL; Susie McElrath of Childersburg, AL; Eugene (Ruth) Marbury, Frank (Minnie) Wilson, Jr. both of Childersburg, AL; and Melvin Wilson of Arizona; one aunt, Jeanie Mae Jackson of Dadeville, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
