Willie Lou Buchanan Obituary

Willie Lou (Haynes) Buchanan was born on November 7th, 1931 to the late Willie C. Haynes and the late Loretta Higgins Haynes in Marbury, Alabama.  Willie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she faithfully served.

Willie received her education on the Birmingham City School System and graduated from Parker High School. 

Along Willie’s life journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Warren Felder, to this union three children were born.  She later united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Eddie Buchanan until his death in 1988. 

On January 7th, 2023, Willie departed this walk of life under the care of Sylacauga Health and Rehab, Sylacauga, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by two husbands, her parents, one son, Warren E. Felder and one daughter, Sandra Felder Swain, and one sister, Rubye Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Jacqueline (Donald) Little of Sylacauga, AL; twenty one grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, twenty great great grandchildren, five bonus daughters, Myra Wright of Birmingham, AL, Marva Chambers of Douglasville, GA, Belinda Little of Stone Mountain, GA, Elizabeth Holsey of Jonesboro, GA; and Sharon Scott of Birmingham, AL; two bonus sons, Arnold Little of Stone Mountain, GA, and Roy Al Little of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
