Ms. Willie Mae Hale was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was born to the parents of John Bradford and Julia Marbury Bradford on October 9, 1938 in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Willie Mae confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Harper Springs Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. After traveling she later united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama, where she faithfully served on the Usher Board.
She received her formal education in the Sylacauga City School system and graduated at East Highland High School with the class of 1959.
Along Willie Mae’s life’s journey, she met the love of her life the late Mr. Harold Hale, Sr. they united in Holy Matrimony. This beautiful union was blessed with three children, Harold Jr., Marvin, and Sheila.
Willie Mae departed this walk of life on April 30, 2023 at her residence in Sylacauga, Alabama surrounded by family. Reuniting with her husband, Harold Hale, Sr., her parents, John and Julia Bradford, grandson, Jordan Harold Hale, son in law, Rodney Truss, stepdaughter, Rebecca Brown, two brothers, and four sisters.
Willie Mae’s love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Harold (Wanzetta) Hale, Jr., Marvin (Sandra) Hale and Sheila Truss; five granddaughters, Ebony Sanders, Janay (Daniel) McKinney, Brittany Hale, Tenika Hale, and Breanna Derrit; two great grandchildren, Frednasha Rogers and Keneisha Bryant; one great great granddaughter, Jayden Waters; sisters, Martha Bradford and Jewel McKenzie; sister in laws, Carrie Hale, Martha Hale, and Ida Hale; special nieces, Shirley Temple and Michelle Temple; special nephew, Chancey Temple; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
