Yolanda Reshun Thomas

Ms. Yolanda Reshun Thomas earthly journey began on May 27, 1980 to the parentage of Mr. Otis Thomas and Mrs. Patricia Keith Thomas in Sylacauga, Alabama. 

At an early age, Yolanda, a beloved mother, daughter, and sister accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Enon Missionary Baptist Church.  As a child, she was educated in the Talladega County School system and later became a 1998 graduate of Childersburg High School. She furthered her education at Central Alabama Community College (CACC) Childersburg Campus, where she earned an Associate Degree.

Along Yolanda's life journey, she was employed by Wal-Mart Super Center in Sylacauga, Alabama.  She loved entertaining her family and friends. 

Yolanda accepted her heavenly wings as she peacefully answered the call of her Master on February 12, 2021, while under the care of UAB Medical Center.  Welcoming her in those pearly gates, her grandparents, Rev. Clifton Keith, Sr., Daisy Rhoden Keith, Earnest Thomas, and Inez Thomas. 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her two daughters, Laterrika L. Datcher of Jacksonville, AL; and Kay'len S. Thomas of Childersburg, AL; a devoted mother, Patricia Keith Thomas of Childersburg, AL; father, Otis F. Thomas of Childersburg, AL; one loving sister, Shawnte L. Thomas of Childersburg, AL; nephews, Que D. Sears, J'Kolby J. Thomas both of Childersburg, AL; special friend, Mark Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; best friend, Jamie Roston Jones of Childersburg, AL; special cousins, Shunda Pope, Letrice Pope both of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
